Apple's Intel base machine will be able to dual boot OS's. Well it seem this would happen but not legally. Steve Jobs is very smart in doing this. he say in the past that the he will allow the Apple to have the dual boot, but i though he would not create his own software in the Leparard OS or an update. I really believe that if you wanted to do this you would have to get a third party software. . The software is called Boot Camp and is available for download now. This shocking news was announced at theWorldwide Developers Conference. Boot Camp is still in a public beta and will be a standard in Mac OS X 10.5 called Leopard. Boot Camp can work for Tiger OS just have to get a the update and it must be an Intel machine.
This should make Bill and the Microsoft boys heads spin. They will have to come up with a dual boot system to to stay in the hardware business. I think if they could have Windows XP on a Mac, then it makes only sense that it could be the other way around. i guess the next contest will be a OS X on a Windows machine.
Dell and other hardware computer sellers will enjoy this. Now they if could get Steve Jobs to give rights to the computer companies. I see this as the next step for Apple to take out Microsoft market shares. This news has helped the slow falling Apple stock to take a leap up.
This sound great and could change my idea of waiting on Vista to buy a new laptop. But i might wait to see what is next for these computer software giants.
