a night in the hands of tomo
 "Stop asking me that! I already said No! N-O, NO! Can't you understand that single sentence?", Miaka said to Hotohori, the emperor of Konan, in a loud and forceful voice - very angered because she kept on repeating her answers. "If you can't understand that, I have no time to talk to an stupid person like you.", Miaka added cruelly.
 Hotohori was transported in a world of shock and sadness. He felt cold and all alone in this dark world. He felt like his world was about to shatter. "You...you will not accept my marriage proposal to you?", Hotohori asked as if in disbelief - aghasted by Miaka's reply. Nobody said no to him before. In fact, a lot of women were begging him to be their husband.
"You finally understand what I said. Thank goodness! It certainly took you a long time. I think you better get lessons for your umm...comprehension (whispers to herself: is that what they call it in english?) so that you won't have a hard time understanding..." -- Miaka was suddenly silenced by Hotohori's loud voice.
"You insolent girl! How dare you talk to me, the emperor of this country, with such disrespect? Guards, seize this girl and throw her out of my country. Make sure that she never returns!", Hotohori said in a very forceful voice that the guards were left in awe of him and for a moment, they were not able to move. "What are you waiting for, guards? Do as I command! Get her out of my sight!", Hotohori ordered again and this time the guards hurriedly followed him.
Miaka was being dragged at the eastern border by the Konan guards. "...And don't come back! You were lucky you were just banished from our country.", the guards told her and left. Miaka wandered in the gates of the eastern country muttering to herself. Great! It was because I opened my big fat mouth. I shouldn't have acted so superior... Miaka's thoughts were suddenly disturbed when somebody shouted at her.
 It was the eastern guards who were patrolling the country. One of them said, "Hey, you! Where is your pass? It seems that she doesn't have a pass, men. She must be a spy of the country of Konan. We must take her to the emperor right away." Miaka's pleas were not heard and so, she was again dragged but by a different set of guards and was presented to the Emperor of the eastern country, Kutou.
 "Who are you and what are you doing in my country?", the Emperor asked suspiciously.
"I am Miaka Yuuki, sir. I meant no harm. I was just sightseeing.", Miaka tried to reply as respectfully as she can.
"Oh, that is nice. We have a visitor. So, how do you like my country so far?", the Emperor asked, oblivious to Miaka's plasticness.
Miaka couldn't stop herself and replied, "Well...I was enjoying myself until...I saw your face. You are so ugly. How can you stand to live knowing that you are so ugly?". Oops, Miaka thought.
The Emperor of Kutou was insulted by this and Miaka was banished, again, from the country of Kutou and was dragged away, again. All's right with the country of Kutou, however, the Emperor's ego was badly injured. And so he asked for the help of Nakago, the general of his army.
 "Nakago, as one of my followers, it is your duty to make me happy. Since that girl's comment, I was depressed. So I need you to look for someone who will prove that girl wrong.", the Emperor of Kutou said grimly.
"I understand, emperor. I will find someone to make that girl eat her words.", Nakago said respectfully. "You will never be made fun of again."
The Emperor seemed satisfied with Nakago's response and said, "Very well. You may go now Nakago. Make sure to find someone quickly."
I already know of one person who can do that, Nakago thought to himself as he left the Emperor's room.
 As he was walking down the hall, Nakago stopped and called out someone, "Tomo...".
A figure appeared in the shadows and said, "I heard my name being called." It was Tomo. "I heard everything, Nakago. Do not worry. I will take care of the emperor for you.", Tomo then disappears to the shadows which he came from.
 After that incident with that girl, nobody said anything about the emperor's obvious atrociousness again - even among themselves. I have to admit, I was wrong. I never thought that the emperor's face would ever improve...but Tomo made me change my mind. And now I can sleep in peace because the emperor would never pester me with his petty frustrations again. I have Tomo to thank for that.
Epilogue
After being thrown out of Kutou, Miaka managed
to get banished from the remaining two countries
by insulting the emperors of each country.
Having nowhere to go,she settled in
the mountains and was never seen again.
Hotohori found a new wife named Houki
and they are expecting a child soon.
Nakago is happily sleeping with his girlfriend, Soi.
After spending the night with the Emperor of Kutou, Tomo realized
that he was a very talented and decided to be an entrepreneur.
He is now a proud owner of a very famous parlor.
Whatever happened to the Emperor of Kutou?!?
Well...
He was so happy with the results Tomo gave him
that he decided to be the... Model of the "before" and "after" shots
for Tomo's parlor!
