This course is first and foremost, devoted to learning conversational Gaelic with reading and writing, grammer and translation seen very much as a second phase, though certainly not an unimportant one.
The course is based on home related activities and wherever possible, set within a home and if not, as closely as one can recreate, a similar scenario.
The objectives of the course are;
to enable students to reach a Gaelic conversational level within 200 hours of course time.
to develop the adult language of the home and the community, to enable students to converse naturally and easily with their children, other members of their family and the wider community.
