Navstar16 NavDivulge (Unleashing the hidden power of windows) NavTextXtractor -> Utility, designed specifically to overcome the barrier to get the text from the whole directory or from just a file. Sometimes, if you want to get the email address from a directory where email address are there in some of your files and you don’t know the file names. Now with this utility you can search and as well as save the result to a new file. Even more you can have your own search criteria apart from the predefined ones. But it must be inside the parenthesis {}. To extract the word, email address, line you need to select the file first and then select the search criteria, well it can be your own defined criteria or predefined ones. Predefined one includes

Now after getting the results, you can open it for viewing just by clicking the result. Two preview modes would be shown, one is text preview and the other one is html preview. You can also remove/hide some of the results from being displayed or saved, by clicking the hide selected button. To save a file click on save button, this will open up a window, which will further ask you for the save options, whether you want the results to be saved in 1 item per line or in the same line delimited by semicolon, colon or tab, and then click on save, that’s it. To extract the results from a directory, you need to select the directory and then scan the directory. Just click on “Extract from folder” and select the folder and then all the process are same again.
