Introduction!

First of all, this a Portuguese Site.
The only reason that I created it, was to let Portuguese people that don't know English (or are not that comfortable with the English language), was to let them know what is happening to our favorite Show. I have been visiting a lot of BSG sites, and I had not yet found any in my own language. I want to get Portuguese fans in touch with what's happening out there in the US. And to try and collect a growing number, so I can show those Big guys at Universal Studios that there are a lot of fans out there, and that it's a Series loved by many people.

Note: If you searching for information on the so called NeoBSG (the new 2004 show), move along to a new site cause you will not find more about it than this few lines. Thanks. :)

Battlestar Galactica premiered on the Cinema on January 28, 1979.

Battlestar Galactica came to the small screen first in September 23, 1982 being the last episode aired on March 5, 1983. Galactica 1980 aired it's first episode in October 23, 1983.
All of them were aired at 7 PM on a Saturday (thanks to Durval for the correction) on the first national channel RTP1 (we only had two channels at the time).

In 1987 a program called "Agora Escolha" (Now chose), that was broadcasted on the second channel RTP2, around 4 PM weekdays aired some episodes of Battlestar Galactica against others shows. Battlestar Galactica would win every time it was one of the two choices, except against one show (sorry, I can't remember the name of which one it was. I'll place it here as soon as I know.).

Battlestar Galactica has returned to the portuguese television in 2004-2005 (?) (I don't know the exact date) by the "hands" of SicRadical. I wish to expresse my sincere thanks for that, and hope I talk by all portuguese fans (who have/had SicR). :)

Pag. Livros - Published BSG Books in Portugal (so far), with picture scan of the covers. And American BSG comics.
Page sub divided in 7 sections:

Europa-América Books,	Goldman (German novels),	Dynamite Entertainment Comics,	Realm Press Comics: Published,	Realm Press Comics: What staied on the drawer,	Maximum Press Comics,	and Marvel Comics.

Pag. Sons - Some Sound files I recorded. They are in English with the Portuguese translation next to it. (Will change files at request.)

Video Clips This section is an arquive with many movie clips from the show. Most clips have come from Herman's web page.

Pag. Software Stuff for your Computer. :)

Pag. Personagens - Characters Page. With description and pictures of (almost) every character. Divided in 6 categories:

Villains,	Main Cast,	Secundarie and Supporting Cast,	Special Guests,	and G:80 Characters.	There's also a Ships Section (In construction phase).

Pag. de Resumos - Episodes summary, including Galactica:1980

Outros Resumos - Other summaries, like the Pocket books, that were not made into Episodes, and Comic summaries.

Novidades - This is where the News are posted, all that I've learned so far, like the New book from Richard Hatch, Chris Scalf's BSG Comic Book or the 20th Yahren Convention.

International Fan location list - You can use this simple form to e-mail Robert and add your self to the fan location list, or you can just e-mail him directly. ;)

Fanfic - You'll find this section dedicated to Portuguese fanfic.

Fan Arte - I'll post here pictures, animations, sounds, etc. of things other fans send to me to be posted. :) Come in and see what I have so far. ;)

Mailing Lists Info - I've got all BSG mailing lists info and instructions how to subscribe. If you are looking for this you can give it a try, even though most info is in Portuguese. (Note: Info to subscribe to BSG-THEME is in English). Also info about available newsgroups and Forums/BBoards.
