Fading pictures

Interested to see how graphic sites always have beautiful images at just seem to fade? Follow this simple tutorial to find out.

+ First choose a image to use. I choose this one.

+ Next click on the select tool. (The one on the left at the top row. It has dotted square.) and change the top px to 20.

+ next select the area you want to keep. and go to select/inverse. and it should become like that.

+ Next hit the delete key on your keyboard. and then deselect by holding ctrl, alt, z or going to select/deselect.
