Bruce lee's ''Kung-fu system''

Jun Fan Gung Fu Jun Fan Gung Fu is the name given to the Fighting methods/style developed originally by Jeet Kune Do (JKD) founder Bruce Lee. Through his personal experience Bruce Lee found many arts/styles had impressive techniques to offer but no one art was able to cover all areas of defense.

Si Gung Lee traveled all over the world studying various martial arts styles such Wing Chung, Western Boxing, Savate, Tai-chi Chuan, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and many others. His formulated method sought to include only techniques that were economical in motion, and would allow for proficiency in all ranges of combat. Thus Jun Fan was born. In 1967 Jun Fan adopted the name Jeet June Do (JKD).

The key difference between JKD and Jun Fan is that June Fan has a prearranged style of fighting that Bruce believed to be the most efficient at the time. Within the class you will learn to fight in four ranges, Foot, Hand, Trapping (close quarter) and Grappling. Techniques you will learn will include some of the following: Takedowns, locks, kicking, boxing, finger jabs, elbows, knees, headbutts, groin strikes, open hand strikes, etc.
